Ukrainian forward Evgeny Seleznev, whose last club was Minai, commented on his decision to go to coaching courses.
Evgeny Seleznev— This decision was planned long ago. I want to understand it from the inside, it's interesting to me. I want to learn something that I didn't know as a footballer.
- Do you see yourself as a coach in the future, or is it just for self-development?
— It could be different. You just know, I always look at things objectively and don’t understand when some people were one before they received their diploma, and then they suddenly change their shoes and become completely different. I want to understand why.
I know that, of course, I will not change my shoes.
I repeat, I'm interested: I want to go through this school and understand whether some people train correctly. I just have experience working with top coaches and I know how it should be. Now I want to both learn and understand for myself.
— Does this mean that your playing career is already over?
- I will answer this way: everyone will soon know everything.
