Dmytro Povorozniuk: "Veres has never had such a difficult series in recent years. We fell..."

Well-known Ukrainian journalist Dmytro Povorozniuk, who currently plays for Veres Rivne, has spoken out about his team's losing streak. After 16 rounds of the current Ukrainian championship, Veres ranks 11th in the standings with only 17 points.

- Veres is falling lower in the standings. 7 defeats in the last 8 matches. Not a single victory at home. It's hard to accept and it puts pressure on the team. Fans and most people always have high expectations, and that's normal. I am from the same breed.

After the defeat by Chornomorets, I am devastated inside. The relegation zone is close at hand. Next up are matches against powerful Vorskla and Zorya. We deserve to be criticized. But is it necessary to turn away from the team now? People are drawn to the winners. After a victory, they carry you in their arms, after a defeat, they spit in your back. This is sport. It is very contrasting.

But is it right?

When Arsenal was losing to the underdog Bournemouth 0-2 on their home field, the fans applauded every successful action of their player. When Veres was losing, many fans would call their own players obscene names. Unfortunately, this culture still exists among some people.

"Arsenal won their match at the last second. "Veres lost.

In a strong family, husband and wife love each other every day and unconditionally. When someone is sick, looks bad or depressed, love does not go away. You accept your partner and help them. The same goes for children. We always support them, even if they do something differently from what we want.

Now we can demand radical changes. Replace the coach, put in a new goalkeeper, remove half the team... And then what? We'll start tearing everyone apart?

After Chornomorets, in the locker room, half of the players put ice on their feet, as they had been beaten in the fight. Statistically, we made more shots and ran more than the opponent. But this does not guarantee anything. We all want to win, but so does the opponent.

In recent years, Veres has not had such a difficult series. We have fallen. But now we want to get back up and move on with confidence.

Will our fans help us? Will they lend a hand to make it easier to get up? I don't know. But in any case, we will remain a team that stands for each other. I don't know when we will win, but I know one thing for sure - this team will give their all to the game. It will fight to the last second. And when we finally win, it will be the best gift for our relationship.

Faith inspires. Faith gives strength. Faith gives confidence. And this has always been the case in the history of mankind and football," Povorozniuk wrote on his Facebook page.

От і я про це хотів написати!
Може якби журналісти , особливо відомі , займалися журналістськими справами , а футболісти футбольними , то і результати були би кращими ?!)
