Minaj coach Volodymyr Sharan explained why his team failed to beat Lviv in the match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship.
Volodymyr Sharan- We were going for the victory despite the unforeseen personnel losses we faced on the eve of the game itself. We operated on Herman Penkov with appendicitis. On the day of the game, Nazariy Vorobchak, Bohdan Chuev, and Oleksandr Melnyk fell ill. Oleg Gorin had to be replaced during the game because he could not continue due to a severe headache. He missed a day of training due to illness.
There is some kind of epidemic in the team. Anton Baidal did not come to the game because of a fever. Oleksandr Kemkin has the same condition, so we had to take a goalkeeper from the U-19. Now Dmytro Nemchaninov, Danylo Kolesnyk, Ihor Honchar, Mykhailo Shyshka are all suffering from fever. Everything is very serious. Even the doctor got sick. And all this on the eve of the game itself. That's why we had to quickly change the tactical scheme, - said Volodymyr Bohdanovych.
