Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag commented on the team's 4-1 victory over Betis in the first leg of the Europa League last 16.
"We played both halves well. The team should have scored three goals before the break, but made a mistake and ended up 1-1.
I liked the guys' attitude. We worked well with the ball, moved around the field, created a lot of chances. It's great to see how the team reacted to the disastrous match against Liverpool. It's not the first time this season we've started from scratch. This team has character, I give them credit," BBC quoted ten Hag as saying.
It is worth reminding that in the previous match of the English Championship, the Red Devils lost at Anfield with a score of 0:7.
