Oleksandr Kucher: "Dynamo is the grande dame of Ukrainian football, they should not behave like this"

Dnipro-1 head coach Oleksandr Kucher commented on the defeat of Dynamo (0:1) in the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship on Profootball Digital.

- Of course, we understood what kind of game it was. And if you look at the standings and the entire championship, it was a very important game for us. We prepared with full dedication, we wanted to win today, to get points. But the kind of mistakes we made in defense cannot be allowed in such matches. One goal decides the whole course of the match, if you make such mistakes.

- Did Dynamo's defense play well and prevent you from getting enough shots?

- Dynamo took advantage of our mistake and sat down on defense. Of course, Kyiv defended, played low, did not allow us to score in the second half. It was very unlike Dynamo. They were stalling, shouting, lying around. I don't understand it: "Dynamo (Kyiv) is a grande dame of Ukrainian football, they shouldn't behave like that.

In general, the guys are unhappy. They wanted to get points, a victory, they were pushing forward. But this is football, and we understand that one mistake can decide the outcome of such matches.

- Today, several newcomers appeared in the starting lineup of your team...

- It was my decision. We have equivalent players who also want to play. We will give everyone a chance, whoever is the best will take the field.

- Are you not giving up?

- No, we will work, we will prepare for every match, go out and win. We need it, and the fans need it, they also want to see Dnipro win.
