Van Dijk: "Liverpool need transfers to stay at the top"

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk believes that the Merseysiders need to strengthen their squad in the next transfer window.

- We have to sign new players if we want to stay at a high level. Of course, some players want to leave the team. If we want to be among the best, we need to sign quality players," said Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool is sixth in the Premier League this season with 42 points.
