The head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu told about the team's problems in the championship of Ukraine.
"Sometimes we don't even know where we will play, we play matches without spectators, we travel 10-11 hours by bus from side to side. Ukraine is a huge country, but we play in four cities. For the match against "Dnipro-1" I traveled 13 hours by train to Uzhgorod. It is not easy.
Foreign players almost never come. Legionnaires come for small money, who are below the level of my players. Over the last year 11 players left Dynamo, and some of them have played very well in England, Spain, Greece. I do what I do best - I invited 7-8 young players to the first team. I worked a lot with them in training, but they are not ready to be in the starting lineup yet, but three are already playing.
We must survive this without prejudice to the image at the international level and even within the country. Dynamo do not have a lot of money. Shakhtar still have the finances. They bring in Ukrainians who have played in Western Europe. They managed to reach the 1/8 finals of the Europa League," Lucescu told Sport Total FM.
