Former Dynamo head coach Yozhef Sabo commented on Shakhtar's performance in European competitions this season.

"Shakhtar performed the best, despite the last match against Feyenoord. If Jovicevic had chosen a defensive tactic for the return leg like he did in Warsaw, Shakhtar would have had a chance. But as soon as Shakhtar opened up, Feyenoord took advantage of it, because they are a head stronger - they play real high-speed soccer.

When I saw that Shakhtar tried to put pressure, I said to myself: that's f***ing great! Also, I do not know what happened to Trubin - every time he shoots, it's always a goal. Well, you can't let everything that flies into the goal! He just had to get four goals!

But if we take Shakhtar's performance in the European competitions in general, they were successful. They played well in the Champions League, beating Rennes. In addition, they have a young team.
