And they finally found it in the 88th minute when the aforementioned Michael Gregoric redeemed himself with the winning goal. Estonia tried their best to level the score, but it was not to be. In the last few minutes there were many substitutions as both teams tried to bring the game to a win. Austria's Christoph Baumgartner and Reinhold Schmid replaced David Alaba and Michael Gregoric, respectively, while Estonia released Ats Purje, Sergei Zenov, and Sander Puri. In the end, it was Austria's night, and they earned a well-deserved victory.
