Sampdoria and Cremonese met at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in a Serie A match that proved to be quite intense. At halftime, the score was 1-1, with both teams taking turns to score. In the end, however, Cremonese came out on top, 3-2. The game kicked off with Sampdoria taking the lead on 15 minutes thanks to M. Leris' goal. However, Cremonese didn't take long to even the score at 1-1 thanks to a goal from P. Guilione on 35 minutes. In the first half, Cremonese got one yellow card - M. Bianchetti. The second half began with Sampdoria making a substitution, releasing M. Cuisance instead of S. Lammers. In the 58th minute, D Stankovic (Sampdoria) was given a yellow card. 66 minutes into the match Sampdoria managed to take the lead thanks to a goal by S. Lammers. However, Cremonese quickly made two substitutions, with F. Cajuta and A. Ferrari replacing D. Ciofani and L. Sernicola respectively.
Cremonese continued to make new substitutions to refresh the team: on 68 minutes P. Guiglione was replaced by E. Valeri, and on 73 minutes G. Quagliata gave way to C. Pikel. Sampdoria also made substitutions: A. Zanoli came on instead of M. Oikonomu on 76 minutes. With five minutes left to play, Cremonese managed to level the score at 2-2 thanks to a goal from L. Lochoshvili. However, the excitement was not over. During the last few minutes, Sampdoria made two more substitutions - T.Augello and F.Djuricic instead of Gese and N.Murra. The situation took a turn for the worse in the 90th minute when several suspensions were recorded. Sampdoria's M. Leris, Cremonese's L. Sernicola and F. Afena-Gyan were given yellow cards. However, the last goal of the match was scored by L. Cernicola, who put Cremonese ahead again in the 90th minute, giving them the win. Overall, it was an exciting match in which both teams put up a good fight. In the end, however, Cremonese got the win, much to the delight of their fans.
