Famous coach and expert Oleh Fedorchuk spoke about the peculiarities of goalkeeper Denys Boyko's career at Dynamo Kyiv.

- There are several nuances here. The first is that the vast majority of Kyiv residents love comfort by nature. And it's very difficult for them to change this comfort zone, sometimes they sit out and are very reluctant to go to other teams, they'd rather stay, even if they lose their salary. Plus, age, young people are supporting them, there are good options for Boyko's replacement - Neshcheret looks good now. And Dynamo's goalkeeping school is strong enough to keep a player at such a respectable age. I believe that an experienced player should play, not sit on the bench.

If an experienced footballer does not play, it is a conflict of logic. Such a player should not be sitting on the bench telling the substitutes how to sit properly, but on the field showing and telling them how to play. Two things I don't understand and don't accept in football are a legionnaire sitting down and a veteran sitting down. All of this creates an unfavorable atmosphere in the team, affects the authority of the coach, disrupts the normal workflow, etc. At the same time, Dynamo has done so many illogical things over the past five years that the case of Boyko looks like a trifle.

Where else can he prove himself? Cyprus, Greece, maybe Central Asia. But there is also a specificity there, its own nuances of life, and it is not known whether a guy from the capital will be able to adapt in that environment. Even China and other options are possible. By the way, there is an example of Yarmolenko and Rebrov in the UAE, or Koval in Saudi Arabia. It's a promising market now, though there is less football there, but more money," the expert said.
