The Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) upheld and unchanged the decision of the UAF Appeals Committee regarding the lifelong disqualification of the famous Ukrainian coach Oleksandr Sevydov, reports UAF official website.
Recall that the 53-year-old specialist would have been suspended from football back in 2020 as part of the match-fixing case of FC Sumy. First, Sevidov received five years of disqualification, plus the same period of probation. However, in May 2021, the UAF Appeals Committee satisfied the appeal of the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee and changed the decision of the UAF FTC, banning the coach from any activity related to football (administrative, sports, etc.) for life.
