As it became known Sport.ua, the UAF Committee for Licensing Football Clubs has conducted its annual licensing procedure.

The highlight was that all participants in the “Championship” group of the First League decided to go through the certification for participation in competitions under the auspices of the UPL. This concerns “Epitsentr”, “Agrobusiness”, “Metalist”, “Bukovyna”, “Kudrivka”, “Poltava”, FC YUKSA, “Metalist 1925”, who are eager to move up a class.

By its decision, the Executive Committee of the UAF reduced the mandatory certification fee for the procedure to 135 thousand hryvnias for the 2024/2025 season for participants in the UPL championship, and starting from the 2025/2026 season, payments for UPL, PFL, and women's teams will be covered by UEFA.
