Myron Markevych: "Rebrov didn`t like that I compared him to the messiah for the team? Well, I'll get over it somehow".

The famous former coach Myron Markevych told what he thinks about the words of the head coach of "Al-Ain" Sergey Rebrov about his address.

- Have you read Sergei Rebrov`s last interview? He did not like that you compared him to the team`s messiah.

- Didn`t you like it? Well, I`ll survive somehow, - Markiewicz said.

"And it was very unpleasant for me to hear the words of Myron Markevych. I respect him, he`s very successful in Ukraine, he worked with the National team for a short time. He understands what everyday work of a coach is and how hard it is. And when he tells the whole country that Ukraine is waiting for the Messiah, he is insulting himself. Not me, not the association.

I do not know what he wanted to show. I believe that there are enough coaches in Ukraine. It's not my prerogative. I do not choose the coach of the national team. And it's not my fault that I have a contract until the end of June. I'll make my own decision", - Rebrov said.
