Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Andrievsky told us about the emotions he and his teammates felt when they played against Metalist Kharkiv (3-1) in yesterday's match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian championship. The night before the match, Russia launched another missile attack on Ukrainian cities. One of the missiles hit a multi-storey building in Uman.
"Today started with terrible news. Dozens of peaceful Ukrainians did not wake up in their beds because of enemy missiles that Russian terrorists once again aimed at the sleeping areas of our peaceful cities.
It is impossible to think of anything else when such crimes against humanity are taking place in our time. This is genocide - the destruction of lives.
I sincerely believe in the Heroes of Ukraine, who will soon drive all this evil out of our homeland. We played today's match with thoughts of those who died in the night terrorist attack. And we dedicate this victory to our Heroic Defenders," Andrievsky wrote on his Instagram page.
