Dynamo U-19 head coach Ihor Kostiuk commented on his team's1-0 away win over Kryvbas U-19.

This is due to the artificial surface: the pitch is not very fast, so the game was slow. We didn't manage to create many chances, especially in the first half. In the second half, we scored the ball, and there was a lot of space behind the opposing team, but we didn't take advantage of it.
In addition, the players who came on as substitutes did not enhance the game, although we hoped for that. But despite this, we won, and we see that victories on an artificial pitch are very difficult for us, because we train on green grass, and when the games are played on the third day after two days, it is physically difficult. So we didn't last the second half, and the players who came on as substitutes, I repeat, didn't improve the game.
- How can you assess the opposing team? What impression did Kryvbas make on you?
- This is a good team, you saw that in the first half they chose to play as a second-choice team, and after the break, when they conceded, they started to act a little more aggressively. I would like to emphasise once again that we did not cope with the transitional phases when there was space, our players ran out to attack many times, but could not properly dispose of the ball.
- The last match against Vorskla was very dramatic and took a lot of moral strength. What was the emotional background of your preparation for the match against Kryvbas?
- Emotionally, the players have not fully recovered, so they have not fully adjusted to today's game as they should.
- Apart from the fact that you have matches twice a week, this was the third away match, how difficult is such a schedule?
- Indeed, it is difficult, you can see how difficult these games are. But we are a Dynamo team, and we have to set ourselves only the highest goals and win every match. The most important thing is the development of the players and their qualities in each game, as well as progress. You also need to go through such matches, correct mistakes and avoid them next time.
- Last time you were asked about Horbach and Zorenko, today you found a place on the pitch for both of them, so you didn't have to choose?
- We had a problem with the wing-backs, so Zorenko played on the left wing and Horbach in the attack. The strikers should score in the chances the team creates for them, so that it is easier for everyone to play.
- In the first-round match against Kryvbas, Dynamo lost points, drawing 1-1, what conclusions did you draw from that game to prevent the same thing from happening this time?
- In the first round, the game was a little different, we had full possession, but we didn't use our chances, and an unfortunate mistake in the last minutes led to a draw. The main thing is that we won today, and now we have no right to lose points if we want to continue to fight for the championship, we are setting the players up for this, and they understand everything well.
