On Monday, 7 May, the current season in the Premier League officially ended. Following the results of the 2022/23 campaign, Burnley became the champion and will play in the Premier League next season. Sheffield United is also returning to the Premier League.
Another ticket to the EPL will be played between four teams - Luton, Middlesbrough, Coventry and Sunderland. The first semi-final matches of the Premier League play-offs will be played on 13-14 May, the return leg on 16-17 May, and the final at Wembley on 27 May.
At the same time, Reading, Blackpool and Wigan are leaving the Championship. Their places will be taken by Plymouth, Ipswich and one of the four teams - Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Bolton, Peterborough.
