Former Ukrainian coach Myron Markevych expressed his opinion about "Metalist" and "Metalist 1925".
- When Kharkiv had no football at all, "Metalist 1925" appeared. The team entered UPL and we have to thank its management for that, that they revived football. Now there is also "Metalist". It`s good for Kharkiv. Maybe in the future "Metalist" and "Metalist 1925" will become one team, or maybe not. We would like to see Kharkiv have a really strong team.
"Metalist 1925" is a financially secure team, there`s no wage arrears. The team is afloat, and I do not think they will have problems with keeping their place in the UPL. Edmar is working well.
Of course, I do not want my home team "Metalist" to drop out. But it`s hard to say what will happen next. Perhaps Yaroslavskyy has already walked away from football. It`s good, we won our last match against FC Lviv, there`s some hope, - Markievych said.
