The former head coach of Dynamo expressed his opinion about the fight for the gold medals in the Ukrainian championship.

"Shakhtar and Dnipro-1 are still in the fight - those two teams will fight for the championship. I think Shakhtar are closer to winning. But this is football, everything can still change, the Pitmen have a two-point handicap. There are still four or five games left, so everything is ahead. Plus, they still have to play each other. This game could decide who will be crowned champions.

"Zorya are surprising. However, everything is logical, there is an experienced coach there who knows how to direct the game. Plus there are some good players there. For example, Butko, who played for the national team, and Buletka, who belongs to Dynamo. So they look very solid.

Dynamo matches under Oleksandr Shovkovs'kyi? I have both hands in favour of Shovkovs'kyi. I worked with him, I know him as a person and I can say he is a great professional. I support him. But now the distance from our rivals, the same Zorya, is 8 points in the standings. It is a lot.

As for the information that Marek Papshun may lead Dynamo in the upcoming season, I think it is just a rumor. I am not sure that this coach will go anywhere from that team. Especially as Lucescu has another year on his contract. He won't go anywhere until he fulfils it. If it does happen that Lucescu leaves, only Shovkovskiy should be his next coach", said Sabo.
