The future of Lviv will be decided at a meeting between management and club owner Bohdan Kopytko in a week's time.

The Lviv management intends to fight for the existence of the club, and wants to keep 2/3 of the current squad. However, most of the winter newcomers will leave the Lions.

It was previously reported that Lviv owes its players part of their April salaries. Also a number of Brazilian players left the team.

As for the tournament situation, after yesterday's defeat at the hands of Rukh (0:2) in the 27th matchday of the Ukrainian championship Lviv lost chances to retain its place in the UPL: the team will not be able to rise above last place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship.
