During the match, both teams made a number of substitutions. Juventus made three substitutions in the second half with A. Milic, M. Locatelli and Alex Sandro. Empoli made two more substitutions in the final minutes: G. Fazzini, N. Cambiagi, G. Akpa Akpro and P. Stojanovic came on. It was a stunning win for Empoli, who showed great spirit and determination throughout the game. Juventus, on the other hand, need to regroup and come back stronger in the next match if they hope to maintain their status as one of the best teams in Italy.
