Well-known journalist Mykola Nesenyuk has spoken out about the claims made by Dnipro-1 head coach Oleksandr Kucher regarding the refereeing in his team's match against Vorskla Poltava (1-2) in the 28th round of the Ukrainian championship.
"Did you bathe her according to the Savage laws?
I remembered this phrase from a classic film comedy after the coach of Dnipro-1 was publicly outraged by the actions of the referee in his team's match against Vorskla. The dear Oleksandr Kucher said that the referee had destroyed all his team's work during the season. However, he did not specify which work.
Indeed, in the game with Vorskla, the referee quite professionally "suppressed" Dnipro-1. And formally, there can be no complaints about any of the referee's "mistakes". And the famous VAR only helped him to do so. If you're interested, you can watch the video, which was quickly edited by Dnipro employees and kindly posted for public viewing.
But back to Coach Kucher and his claims. To me, he looked exactly like the "Tavarish Saakhov" from the aforementioned film, who, when he got mad, demanded that he be tried for trying to buy a bride "according to our Savage laws", to which he received the answer given in the headline.
I wonder why the fair Kucher was not publicly outraged when the referees regularly awarded eleven-metre penalties in favour of his team, which were sucked out of Krasnikov's finger? (Yevhen Krasnikov is the sports director of Dnipro-1 - ed.) On the contrary, when asked about this in public, the Dnipro-1 coach claimed that everything was correct. Oleksandr Kucher did not say that if it were not for those penalties, his team would now be fighting not with Shakhtar for first or second place, but with Kryvbas and Vorskla for fifth or sixth.
What is the conclusion? In my opinion, our objective, impartial and incorruptible football referees acted in full compliance with our own football laws. Which ones? Ask Oleksandr Kucher. He knows. And not only he," Nesenyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
