The head coach of Odessa-based Chornomorets Roman Grigorchuk has made it clear that his team will face the task of winning a trip to the European Cup next season. It must be recalled, in the final championship of Ukraine 2022/23, the "sailors" finished in 9th place.

People, fans, the environment, our football community - they all deserve to have a strong team in Odessa. And all our efforts should be focused on it.
It simply can not be otherwise. I've decided it for a long time. Unfortunately, this year was not such that we can say that we have a team and we can fight for European Cups. We need to do a lot to have such a team", - Grigorchuk said at the press conference after the final match of Chornomorets in the season 2022/23.
