Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine defender Valeriy Bondar has spoken about meeting the new coaching staff of the national team.

We met the new coach - he is a real legend of Ukrainian football and Dynamo Kyiv. After today's address by Serhii Rebrov, the team has great inspiration, desire and ambition. Everyone listened to him very carefully and even went over some tactical points in their heads. We will study his style of play.
The situation in Ukraine is very difficult now due to the recent events. So when you go abroad, you remember that your family, wife and parents stay there. And it is dangerous for them, as well as for every Ukrainian. Every day we are very worried about our country. Everything those bad people are doing now is very painful. The catastrophe they caused a few days ago is impossible to describe in words. So many people died, even animals... It's hard to talk about it.
But we stand together and believe in our Armed Forces. We live and play football only because of them. They protect us, and we can work on the field. We thank them every day! I want to wish our soldiers strength and good luck to kick these scum off our land," said Valeriy.
