Referees at Germany-Ukraine match donate their fees in support of Ukraine: amount disclosed

A team of referees who worked at a friendly match between Germany and Ukraine have joined charitable donations in support of our country.

According to the German Football Association, head referee Anastassios Sidiropoulos, side referees Reinhart Buxbaum and Chazan Koula, fourth official Ioannis Papadopoulos, and VAR assistants Aristotelis Diamantopoulos and Spyridon Zampalas gave up fees totalling almost €4,000.

In addition, the NFU organised a raffle of the T-shirts worn by the German national team players yesterday. All the proceeds will go to the German Football Association's charitable initiatives in support of Ukraine.
