Ukraine's youth national team has begun direct preparations for the Euro 2023 quarter-final match against France.
Dmytro KryskivRuslan Rotan's wards held a scheduled training session in Romania, preparing for a crucial confrontation. Blue and yellow midfielder Dmytro Kryskiv shared his thoughts on the upcoming match.
"We had a really good group stage, so I believe in our abilities. This was not a surprise for our team, because this is what we have been working for.
We will face France in the quarter-finals. This is a very strong team with quality players. We know their squad well, so we will prepare and look for their weaknesses. Indeed, a very powerful team has gathered there with individually strong performers.
We recently met France in the qualifying round of the European Championship. There was a defeat and a draw, so I hope that victory is ahead," said Dmytro Kryskiv.
It will be recalled that the quarter-final match of Euro 2023 (U-21) France - Ukraine will take place on Sunday, July 2, at the Cluj Arena in Cluj-Napoca (starting at 22.00 Kyiv time).
