Yesterday, 15 July, the organisers of Game4Ukraine reported that former Barcelona and France defender Eric Abidal would take part in a charity match in support of Ukraine, but then they deleted all the posts with this information.

We will remind, in February, the Frenchman played in the matches of the so-called "Legends Cup", which was held in Moscow. In addition to him, that tournament featured Florent Malouda, Emmanuel Adebayor, JJ Okocha and other football veterans.

A charity match in support of Ukraine will be held on 5 August in London. The proceeds from the event are promised to be donated to the restoration of the Mykhaylo-Kotsyubinsk lyceum in Chernihiv region, which was destroyed by the Russians last year.
