Ukraine's youth national team defender Oleksiy Sych, who spent last year on loan at Belgian side Kortrijk, will start the new season in Lviv, the Rukh press service reports.
After a short holiday due to his participation in the European Youth Championships as part of the Ukrainian U-21 national team, Oleksiy joined Rukh's training camp and is preparing for the start of the UPL season with the team.
Last season, Sych played 17 matches for Cortejit, scoring a goal and two assists. The defender played his last match in a yellow and black shirt on 2 September 2022 against Shakhtar, in which Rukh lost 0-1. In total, Oleksiy has played 18 matches for the Lviv team.
