Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Jozsef Szabo has expressed his opinion on the elimination of Ukrainian clubs from European competitions.

Players make a million mistakes, there is no discipline, some players walk, they think they have made a pass and that's enough. Football is a job from the first to the last minute, from your own penalty area to the opponent's penalty area, taking into account the tactics chosen by the coach. Now the Ukrainian national team will play - how should I watch? Should we just be upset?
"Besiktas is stronger than Dynamo as of today. They played to the score from the first minutes. Especially in the first half. But what surprises me is that when the opponent has the ball, they have free passes - all the opponent's players are free. What kind of football is this new? I watch the championships of England and Italy, how they "bite" in the selection and pressure, what high-speed attacks - all this has disappeared from us. Some players have no right to play in these teams at all - this applies not only to Dynamo. There must be speed and energy - they haven't taught us how to receive the ball properly, how to take it away, but we have only violations.
There is not a single player in Dynamo whom I could single out. We scored a goal - three Kyiv players failed to take the ball away at once. The team plays more backwards than forwards. What is this?
Our football is in decline. Unfortunately, only the name is left of Dynamo. I don't even know if I'll watch the Ukrainian championship with this kind of game. I don't know how Shakhtar will play in their Champions League group, because there are decent teams there. So far, Shakhtar have not dominated either Dynamo or Dnipro-1 or Zorya.
