One Greek media outlet commented rather cautiously on the information about Verbych's absence from Panathinaikos' application.

"The Panathinaikos team says that this development does not affect Verbych's presence at the club. However, all the players want to play, especially in important matches, and this is known to absolutely everyone," Sportime reports.
