- The Belgian league is a decent level championship. Both Sidorchuk and Garmash are already finishing their careers. Why not play for a year or two for your own pleasure? The Croatian league is a weaker level, but it doesn't change the role significantly. In general, I recommend that players play as long as possible. Because then there will come days when no one needs you and it will be bad.
- Will the level of the UPL remain unchanged in the near future?
- It's good that we have football, that matches are being played in the Premier League, the first and second leagues. We need to get through this difficult time. If it all stops, there will be a collapse. We need to bring up young players. They now have every chance to fulfil themselves, they just need to change their mentality and move forward as soon as possible.
So far, our clubs cannot compete with European middle-class teams. That's why we have such results. Do you have any complaints about Lucescu? There is nothing surprising in this - as soon as the team loses, the coach is to blame. However, to show a good result, you need to have players. At Shakhtar, Lucescu had serious players, and we had results. Everything is interconnected. Lucescu's dismissal from Dynamo will not change anything.
- What are Shakhtar's chances of getting out of the group?
- If it takes third place, it will be very good.
