Famous Ukrainian coach Yuriy Virt shared his impressions of yesterday's match of the 7th round of the Ukrainian championship between Kyiv Dynamo and Poltava Vorskla (2:0).
"A deserved victory of Dynamo. I would like to note the first 20 minutes of the match, Dynamo players' commitment to this game, their activity, pressure on Vorskla's goal. "Dynamo scored the first goal after a three-way play Dubinchak - Vanat - Voloshyn. Then Kyivians continued to put pressure on the Vorskla goal, creating chances. The activity from the left flank, from Dubinchak and Voloshyn was memorable. Vanat was loaded on goal, had a number of chances. "Vorskla" did not remember anything, two shots past the goal. So Dynamo completely controlled the game in the first half.
In the second half the speed was slower and there were more positional attacks. Mircea Lucescu made very good substitutions. With Kabaev and Benito coming on, Dynamo attacks became very sharp. I would like to note the second goal of Dynamo after a perfect pass from Buyalskiy, one-on-one with the goalkeeper Benito and his great realisation of this moment. I also note Kabaev: in the 72nd minute only the bar saved the Poltava team from a goal. "Vorskla", in principle, did not remember anything like that, except for Kane's shot in the 51st minute, when the ball hit the bar.
So, I repeat, Dynamo deserved victory. I would like to mention Dubinchak and Vanat. Although the latter did not realise any of his chances, but created good pressure on Vorskla. I would like to mention Kane - he was one of the most active players in his team," said Virt in a commentary to the UPL TB Telegram channel.
