As already reported, last Wednesday Dynamo Kyiv lost to another capital club, Obolon (0:1) in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup and, thus, dropped out of the tournament.
The last time such a failure of the Bilo-Syni happened 11 years ago, when in the distant season 2012/2103 Dynamo lost in the 1/16 finals of the Ukrainian Cup to Shakhtar Donetsk (1:4). After that, Kyivians have always played at the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
