"I was thinking of starting to apologise to the Juventus fans and all football fans after my mistake... But I am shocked by the fake stories in the newspapers, which are full of false details. This is done only to make me look bad. I will provide details soon," Fabrizio Romano, a well-known insider, quoted Faggioli as saying on social media site X.
