And "Minai" suffers the most. The most unfortunate thing is that UPL clubs have no leverage to get quality refereeing. For example, we still do not understand how referees are punished for gross errors.
- So there was a recent meeting of club representatives with the heads of the referee corps. Why did not you directly ask about it Luchi or Rizzoli?
- We asked about it. We talked about a specific case, when in the sixth round referee Bondarenko made a gross mistake, the Committee recognised it and allegedly punished him. Luchi started to claim that he had banned the referee for a month and said that for a referee to work as a video assistant is a punishment! Because he receives a fee of 39 thousand hryvnias, while the VAR - 6 thousand. What we have in fact: Luchi cynically made us clowns. All those gathered at the meeting.
Firstly, Bondarenko really did not referee for a month, but during this time in September there were only two rounds, on which he worked as a VAR, and then again was the main in the field at the match "Kryvbas" - "Rukh". Well and secondly, we lifted the documents, looked at the amount that the club pays specifically for the services of the staff of the van VAR, and found a figure of 55 thousand hryvnia. That is, even if five people get 6 thousand each, it does not add up to 55 thousand. Obviously, the video assistant receives a decent fee. We're not picking anyone's pocket, but it's very low to lie at this level, Mr Luchi.
- What' s next? What do you mean by radical action?
- With each round, after another "performance" of the referees, the question arises: who needs this kind of football? The fans don't, the players who are "killed" on the pitch don't, the club owners don't. So is it worth investing in it? We hope that club presidents at collective meetings will find some solution to these problems. Otherwise, our football will continue to slide into the abyss
