Messi: "I think this is my last Ballon d'Or"

Inter Miami striker Lionel Messi has suggested that he will no longer receive the Ballon d'Or.

"I haven't thought about the Ballon d'Or for a long time. Winning the Ballon d'Or has never been a priority for me - especially now, after everything I've achieved in my career and compared to all the other moments I've experienced.

I think this is my last Ballon d'Or. I'm happy to have achieved everything I've achieved and to be the only player to have won eight awards," L'Équipe quoted Messi as saying.
