Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson commented on the victory over Tottenham in the English Championship match.
"I've dreamed of this since I was a kid, and I've done it. I am very happy. This is my first hat-trick. It was a tense game. Tottenham have a well-organised defence. Their goalkeeper surprised me, he is fast. Maybe we could have scored three more, he helped them a lot.
Even playing 11 on 11, we should have won this match. They scored a quick goal, which gave them confidence, but we managed to get back into the game. We work very hard to win and we did," said Jackson.
Chelsea's press service also states that Jackson confirmed that he wanted to pass to Mykhailo Mudryk during his third goal, but noticed that the Ukrainian was offside, so he went to beat the Tottenham goalkeeper instead.
