Following the results of the next European Cup matches, Ukraine retained its position in the UEFA coefficient table.
As a reminder, this week Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Spanish Barcelona (1-0) in the Champions League, while Zorya Luhansk lost to Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv (1-3) in the Conference League.
As a result, Ukraine are still 17th in the UEFA coefficient table, two places away from the key 15th position (countries ranked 1st to 15th in the table delegate two representatives to the Champions League, not one). But Israel, who are next in the table, just thanks to the victory over Zorya, reduced the gap to 0.125 points.
Recall that the final table of UEFA coefficients this season will determine the representation of countries in the European Cup season 2025/26. Next season Ukraine, as before, will be represented in the Champions League by two teams.
