On Saturday, 11 November, as part of the 14th round of the Ukrainian Youth Championship, Dynamo U-19 met Kryvbas U-19 from Kryvyi Rih. Although this match was an away match for our team, it took place on the field of Dynamo's training base in Koncha Zaspa.

It is worth noting that in the previous rounds, the White and Blues scored 29 points and were first in the standings. Kryvbas was in 8th place in the standings with 17 points.
In the first half, the teams exchanged goals, and in the second half, Balaba and Ponomarenko scored for Dynamo, while Kryvbas scored Konyukhov, who set the final score at the end of the match.
At the beginning of the match, the teams exchanged standard positions, but without any real danger to each other's goals. Then there were attempts to shoot from long range - also without success. Goalkeepers Surkis and Omelchenko saved their teams once each (after Osipenko's shot from the penalty spot). Once the ball went into Kryvbas' goal after a shot by Ponomarenko, but our striker was clearly offside.
Ponomarenko and Kremchanin also had a shot from long range, but it was a bit inaccurate. Kryvyi Rih tried to use high pressure, but Dynamo were skilful at getting out from under it. Finally, at one point, Kotukha earned a free kick near the opponents' penalty area, which Kremchanin took, and with a tricky shot, rounding the wall, he hit the near corner.
Before the half-time whistle, the nominal guests were able to get back into the game: Mulyk made a timely pass to the centre on the right, and Kamensky sent the ball into the net from outside the goalkeeper's area. The teams went into halftime with the score tied 1-1.
Due to an air raid, the break lasted more than three and a half hours. As soon as it was over, the teams warmed up and played the second half.
At first, the opponents exchanged attacks, but without any serious danger. Kyiv actively used the flanks, just like in the first half. And soon our team earned a free kick, which they were able to convert into a goal. Kremchanin made a cross into the penalty area, the ball hit the post and from there it went to Balaba, who sent it into the net, putting his team ahead.
After that, Kyiv organised several more promising attacks, but in the final stages, our guys lacked the last pass. At one point, Ponomarenko decided to take a powerful long-range shot from 27 metres out and did not regret it - the ball flew along a trajectory unattainable for the goalkeeper and ended up in the net.
However, the Kryvyi Rih team was not upset for long: a minute later, Konyukhov decided to take a similar long-range shot, receiving a pass from deep in the field, and with an equally spectacular shot he again reduced the deficit to a minimum. Our guys could have scored at least twice more before the final whistle, but once the ball flew over the top of the goal, and the other time the Kryvbas goalkeeper dealt with the danger.
