A thrilling Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Manchester City ended in a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge. This match had everything a football fan could wish for: an exciting game, a lot of goals and controversial moments that kept the spectators in suspense. At half-time the score was 2-2, but from the very beginning it was clear that both teams were eager to get all three points. In the 22nd minute, Chelsea's M. Cucurella received a yellow card, and in the 23rd minute - K. Palmer. However, in the 25th minute Manchester City were awarded a penalty, which was confidently realised by E. Haaland, putting the guests ahead. But Chelsea responded brilliantly. On 29 minutes T. Silva equalised, and just eight minutes later R. Sterling broke through and put Chelsea ahead. The first half ended in a fracas when Manchester City player M. Akanji equalised with a powerful strike - 2:2. The second half started with the same momentum as the first and both teams proved that they were not ready to settle for a draw. In the 47th minute, Manchester City took the lead again thanks to another effective strike from E. Haaland. However, their joy was short-lived, as in the 67th minute N. Jackson equalised the score. Jackson levelled the score by showing great composure and skill in the Chelsea penalty area.
The game continued to be dramatic and tense and time was running out. Chelsea's M. Caicedo and Manchester City's Rodri received yellow cards in the 60th and 72nd minutes respectively as the game became increasingly tight. Both teams made substitutions in search of the winning goal, with J. Grealish replacing J. Doku for Manchester City in the 59th minute and R. James and E. Fernandez replacing M. Gusto and M. Mudryk for Chelsea in the 64th minute. In the 79th minute, M. Kovacic came on for Manchester City and little did they know that he would produce an immediate result. In the 86th minute, Rodri scored a sensational goal and put Manchester City ahead again. However, Chelsea did not back down and continued to persistently look for an opportunity to equalise, which bore fruit as the match drew to a close. In the 90th minute, K. Palmer calmly converted a penalty awarded to Chelsea and levelled the score again. In the end of the match N. Jackson, J. Grealish and R. Sterling received a yellow card. In the last minutes of the match K. Ugochukwu replaced N. Jackson in the Chelsea line-up, ending an exciting match. The game showed the resilient spirit of both teams and was a spectacle for football fans around the world. With eight goals, plenty of incidents and a lot of emotion, this match between Chelsea and Manchester City will surely go down as one of the most memorable Premier League encounters of the season.
