Botafogo's Spanish striker Diego Costa told us why he behaves rather brutally on the football field.
Diego Costa, Getty Images- I used to insult everyone. When I was young, I had no respect for other players. I thought I should kill them. Young men who go to academies are taught to behave in a balanced way. I didn't have a similar school.
I was used to seeing footballers elbowing each other in the face. I thought it was normal. Everything used to be different, I had a completely different head than I have today, and I didn't take some things well. But I wouldn't change anything if I had the chance. I have learnt the lessons of the past. That's why I've managed to reach this level," said Diego Costa.
