France striker Kylian Mbappe realised that he would not win the Ballon d'Or this year after losing the 2022 FIFA World Cup final to Argentina.

"Messi should have won the Ballon d'Or because he won the World Cup. He is one of the greatest in history, if not the greatest, in my opinion.
