Russian referee Sergey Karasev has been appointed for the Saudi Arabian championship match. This is the first international appointment of a referee from Russia after 24 February 2022.
According to propaganda media, Karasev could first serve the match of the leaders of the championship - "Al-Hilal" and "Al-Nasr", but in the end will work on a modest match between "Al-Feyha" and "Damak".
Recall, the last time Karasev was assigned to an international game was 24 February 2022. It was a meeting of the 1/16 finals of the Europa League between "Napoli" and "Barcelona".
