An incredible incident occurred in the Portuguese championship with the participation of Ukrainian defender of Aroca Bogdan Milovanov.
At the beginning of the second half of the match of the 12th round of the championship "Boavista" - "Aroca" 25-year-old legionnaire was injured and, being on the lawn, gestured that he could not continue the game. However, the head referee, instead of allowing doctors to go on the pitch and assist Milovanov, signalled for the game to continue.
In the next stoppage of play, the Ukrainian international was again forced to crouch on the pitch and again signalled that he was injured. This time the referee thought of nothing better than to show the player a yellow card, which for Milovanov turned out to be the second in this match and accordingly automatically turned into a red card.
It is noteworthy that at that moment Aroca were winning with a big score, 3-0, and Milovanov could not be motivated to fake an injury in order to prolong the time (moreover, at the very beginning of the second half).
Let's add that Milovanov has been playing for Aroca since 2022. In the current season, the Ukrainian has taken part in 14 of his team's 24 matches.
