President of Zhytomyr's Polissya Gennadiy Butkevych announced the team's objectives for the spring part of the season.

At the beginning of the season, I set the team a goal to gain a foothold in the top five, and later we realised that this goal was achievable. Therefore, we do not want to stop there and will try to fight for the UPL prizes. I am also very pleased with the team's performances in the Ukrainian Cup and the historic achievement of reaching the semi-finals. Our goal in this tournament is to win the trophy. The team is showing gradual and steady growth. Therefore, the requirements are also growing. "Polissia will fight for the UPL and Ukrainian Cup prizes," Butkevych was quoted as saying by the Zhytomyr team's official website.
