Super League format announced: details

The Super League, following today's ruling by the EU Supreme Court, has announced the format of the upcoming tournament on its YouTube channel.

It is known that 64 teams will take part in the tournament. They will be divided into three divisions: "Star (16 clubs), Gold (16 clubs) and Blue (32 clubs). In turn, these divisions will be divided into groups of 8 teams, where they will play 2 matches against each other.

All clubs will have the opportunity to qualify for the top division. The worst teams in the competition will be relegated to the lower division.

In the Star and Gold Leagues, the top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. In the Blue Division, there will be two teams from each group. Each season, 20 teams will be relegated from the Blue League, and their places will be taken by other clubs from the national championships.

It is also important that the tournament matches will take place in the middle of the week, meaning that they will not overlap with national championship matches.
