Roma head coach Jose Mourinho answered journalists' questions about the fans' attitude to the possible transfer of the defender of the Berlin Union Leonardo Bonucci.
"I'm not comfortable talking about Bonucci. I think he should be respected, and one way to do that is not to talk about the Union player.
Regarding your question, and the possible impact on the atmosphere in the team and the fans, I will express my own deeply personal opinion. I always say two things. The heart of the club is the fans, but there are other structures that are sovereign. The decision belongs to those who are sovereign. However, I have always believed that the heart of a club, not just Roma, is the fans. And when you do something good for them, you ignite this passion, this love. When you do something that the fans don't like, in my opinion, you shouldn't do it. I don't want to add anything more, or I can't," Mourinho was quoted as saying by the Wolves' press service.
It will be recalled that Roma's tifosi expressed their dissatisfaction with the possible transfer of the former Juventus captain.
