Brentford striker Ivan Toni said he wanted to thank the club for their support. As a reminder, the English striker was banned for eight months for betting.
"Everyone knows that Brentford is a family club. The people within the team have been amazing to me. I can't thank everyone enough, especially the fans. They have also supported me from the very beginning. So I guess I have something to repay them for. Brentford are having some problems at the moment, so when I come back I will try to help them. I can't wait for that moment," Sky Sports quoted Tony as saying.
It will be recalled that Iain Toney's suspension expires on 16 January.
