PFL President Oleksandr Kadenko assessed the chances of holding calendar matches in the first and second leagues with spectators.
- This issue has been under control for a long time. Unfortunately, a lot depends not on our desire or the Ministry of Youth and Sports, or the communities where the teams are based. There is a war in Ukraine. Nevertheless, we are trying to keep in touch with the clubs to arrange matches with fans. We have agreed that by the end of February each club should give a concrete answer: how many fans will be able to stay in the bomb shelter during the air raid? Of course, the number of seats in the stands will also be taken into account.
Since the second part of the competition under the auspices of the PFL starts on 23 March, we will have enough time to develop clear security measures for each team that would make it possible for fans to attend football matches," Kadenko said.
