Sport.ua has learned that the only candidate for the UAF presidency, Andriy Shevchenko, has been in Kyiv since 12 January.
On 16 January, he will travel to Lviv, where at 17:00 he will meet with the heads of football associations in the western regions of Ukraine at the premises of the regional football association.
Similar meetings with the heads of regional associations will take place in Kyiv, Odesa and Kharkiv in the coming days.
It is somewhat symbolic that Andriy Shevchenko starts his election tour in Lviv. This city is a happy one for him, as he scored here while playing for the national team of Ukraine, won at Arena Lviv and as the manager of the national team. Just one bright victory over the Serbs is worth mentioning - 5-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The UAF Extraordinary Congress will take place in Kyiv on 25 January.
